The calendar says that Spring is here! But with all the seasons that Mother Nature seems to want to throw at NJ, I don’t know what to wear out of the house anymore! So in my limited free time, I’ve been skimming a few magazines and sites, and out of all of the spring fashion trends that are forecasted out there, I came of with 3 of my favs. Check ’em out and let me know what you think!
Varsity Jackets
Spring is here, the ups and downs with this weather requires a good windbreaker for those chilly days and breezy nights as summer comes about. My favorite look for the unpredictable weather happens to be the Varsity Jacket. They look great no matter if you wear it with a dress or jeans. Depending on the style of your jacket you can make it the focal-point of your look with jackets made with non traditional fabrics, such as floral print and metallic colors. Make your look with a Varsity Jacket completely your own!
Lace Skirts
Lace on a skirt. It screams spring and feminine to me. Lace is so girly and at the same time can translate into so many other personas. Lace skirts, can be worn with collared shirts, thin sweaters, sheer shirts for those to dare to bare, and with virtually any type of heels! If you get colored lace like the skirt pictured above, it only adds to the amount of style you can play up when it comes to your wardrobe, you don’t have to wear the traditional white lace.
Neon Pumps
Not only am I happy to see that neon is a trend for this spring, but I’m super hype that there are so many different styles of neon pumps out for the season! I love the attention that neon brings. You have to look at neon whether you like it or not, just because it so bright! If you are afraid of doing neon, I recommend wearing a neutral outfit and letting a neon item, in my case a shoe, be a pop of color in your look. You can easily overdo the neon trend by wearing an outfit that is more than 40-50% neon. No need to look like a human traffic cone! lol
